Coconuts Fort Laudrdale Beach

Are you looking for that perfect dockside nook to sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself?  Well, at Coconuts on Fort Lauderdale Beach, you will find that pier you’ve been dreaming about where people literally, pull up to the marina in their boats and dine and make some friends.

Coconuts, which was started back in 1980 is located right next to The Swimming Hall of Fame on Seabreeze Boulevard and just steps away from Fort Lauderdale Beach.  This is one of those places that come highly recommended and, just like in Pay It Forward; you have to tell at least three people about it.  There used to be a place I went to down in Aventura that, sadly is no longer there, and I miss it.  I have found its replacement in Coconuts.

I had the Grilled Chicken Teriyaki and rice pilaf while my friend had the Crab Cake Salad which came over field greens and both were recommendable.  They have an intimate menu, but it still covers a lot of different types and styles of items.  While they may have a lot of fresh fish and seafood items like Coconut Shrimp and Conch Fritters, they also have Spinach and Artichoke Dip and Grilled Jerk Wings.  If you are in the mood for a Caesar Salad they can pair it up with grilled chicken, shrimp, or Mahi Mahi.  They have Fresh Fish Tacos, Lobster Rolls, and Pan Seared Fish as well as New York Strip Steak, Jambalaya, and Danish Babyback Barbequed Ribs.

In the mood for wine?  Well, on Mondays and Tuesdays, they have half prices on all bottled wines!  How about live music?  On Thursday and Friday nights they have live music but on Saturday nights and Sunday Brunches, they have a Steel Drum Band on the patio!  Did I mention their patio is Pet Friendly?

Coconuts is the most amazing, relaxing, and refreshing place along the beach without being on the beach.  Stop by for lunch, dinner, or brunch—you won’t be disappointed.   Also, don’t forget their mantra:  Be Nice
