Olympic Star Gus Kenworthy Talks Hollywood Aspirations

Before pursuing acting, Kenworthy gained global notoriety after taking silver in men’s slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. But after the 26-year-old British-born freestyle skier came out as gay the following year in an interview with ESPN, he was recognized as an LGBTQ trailblazer for being one of only a few athletes to do so. This year, boyfriend Matthew Wilkas and Kenworthy expressed their unabashed affection for each other during the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, when their televised kiss before his qualifying run in the men’s slopestyle became, like his triumphant sports career itself, a notable moment of visibility for LGBTQ athletes. 'Kyle XY' Alum Matt Dallas Talks New Horror Flick

Matt Dallas was told to stay in the closet after moving to L.A. to pursue acting at 18, particularly while portraying boyishly cute titular character with the non-existent navel on ABC Family’s 2006-launched teen sci-fi drama Kyle XY. Other roles followed: he starred alongside Hilary Duff in ABC Family’s 2010 TV film Beauty & the Briefcase, and also played Katy Perry’s war-vet boyfriend in her 2009 “Thinking of You” music video and, that same year, Rebecca Romijn’s love interest, Chad, on ABC’s supernatural dramedy Eastwick.

Dallas’ latest project, Along Came the Devil, is a fresh horror-genre venture for the 35-year-old actor, who starred in a glut of slasher films at the onset of his career, including 2005’s Camp Slaughter and 2008’s Babysitter Wanted. In this demonic endeavor he plays a pastor, the kind you know only exists in the movies (if only they were this hot in real life). Troye Sivan Talks Finding Power in Femininity

Nobody is stopping Troye Sivan except for maybe Troye Sivan. No queer-averse label bosses, no identity-stifling pressure to be anything but who he is: the LGBTQ community’s precious paradigm of unapologetic, unicornian queerness.

But even with the YouTube-launched pop fixture’s steady mainstream rise, with assists from Ariana Grande on a single featured on his sophomore album, Bloom, and a live duet at a recent Taylor Swift concert, the 23-year-old’s follow-up to 2015’s Blue Neighborhood refuses to sacrifice self for commercialism. Florida's Best Clothing Optional Gay Men's Resorts

Life in the tropics is all about beating the heat. And what better way cool off than to hang out poolside without clothing? Florida has dozens of clothing optional resorts, but which ones are the best? Here's the Mark's List take on the 5 best (in no particular order).

In Key West check out New Orleans House and Island House. New Orleans House is located on Duval Street, right in the middle of all of the action. You can count on a great time poolside or in Key West's biggest Gay nightclub, Bourbon Street Pub. Island House is located on a quieter side street and offers amazing rooms, many of them opening onto the pool and patio. There's also an amazing pool side cafe serving up some of the best food (and libations) on the Island. In Fort Lauderdale, we suggest you get your Gay clothing optional groove on at The Grand Resort and Spa, which offers an upscale atmosphere with amenities that include spa services, poolside cabana bars and plenty of tanning lotion to keep your booty from burning. In Central Florida you can head out into the woods and catch some all over rays at the Sawmill Camping Resort. Sawmill offers cabins and plenty of places to park RVs or pitch tents. There's also a large heated pool, a dance hall, restaurant, several themed bars and plenty of trails to go "hiking" on.

Adult Film Star Rocco Steele Tackles HIV Stigma

Although research and support for the HIV/AIDS community has come a long way since the 80s and 90s, a great deal of ignorance and stigma still exists—even within the gay community. With celebrities such as Charlie Sheen and Danny Pintauro (Who’s the Boss?) recently bringing HIV/AIDS into the entertainment headlines, perhaps now is the perfect time for a new, more enlightened conversation on the subject.

Mark’s List spoke with adult film star Rocco Steele, who has experienced his fair share of ups and downs with addiction and living with HIV.  He has, however, used these personal experiences as a catalyst to promote HIV awareness and education.
