Two of the hottest porn stars in the world, Pierre Fitch and Ralph Woods, will make a special appearance at  Johnny’s on Thursday, February 17. This will be the first time the two close friends have appeared together on stage, live in Fort Lauderdale.

In addition to his porn career, Fitch has been traveling the world for the last year-and-a-half as a deejay and we caught up with him in Mexico just days before his arrival in Fort Lauderdale.

“I’m excited about being in Florida and looking forward to meeting Sean [David] from Johnny’s and everybody at Johnny’s Bar,” said Fitch. “We’ve had so much snow up here that I’d rather be in Mexico and Florida. I can get a tan and everything. I’ve got the heaters running right now.”

Fitch has been in Fort Lauderdale before but he admits it’s been several years since he’s been here. Also, this is the first time both he and Woods have appeared together on stage in Florida even though he says, “me and Ralph are best friends and we see each other all the time.”

After appearing at Johnny’s, Fitch will be resuming his deejaying career spinning in North Carolina, Toronto, Berlin, Brazil then returning to Mexico.

“I had to take a few months off, though, as it became a little overwhelming after my Australia trip where they filmed a documentary on my deejay career.” Fitch said. He is also working on selling a reality show pilot which has already been filmed.

Finally, Fitch is also opening an online store in the next few weeks,www.PierreFitchStore.com, where he says you can purchase his toys, clothing line and DVDs. He also has two new DVDs which will appear in the store when it opens. Fitch’s deejay website is www.DJPierreFitch.com.

Unlike Pierre, Ralph is no stranger to Johnny’s in South Florida having worked there for seven months a few years ago.

“It feels great to be coming back down there because I’ve been wanting a vacation from Canada and I can’t wait to see all my friends have a few laughs and party and have fun. And I’m looking forward to seeing Sean again and everybody.”

Ralph went on to say that he really liked it down here as the weather was amazing and he could go to the beach any time he wanted. He also said that he missed the great restaurants and clubs and just hanging out with his friends.

Ralph returned to Montreal in early 2009 to study massage therapy where he is now a licensed massage therapist and has his own business.

Don’t miss Pierre Fitch and Ralph Woods at Johnny’s Bar in Fort Lauderdale for a special night of excitement Thursday, February 17. Advance tickets are available for a special VIP private meet and greet, $50 in advance or $75 at the door (if there are still some available) which includes top shelf open bar from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, hors d’oeuvres plus free admission to Saturday and Sunday shows.

MTV Short Film Takes a Look at Masculinity in America

A new short film from MTV takes a gritty look at homophobia and how gender norms make it hard for us to be who we really. "American Male" explores the behaviors society expects from men and and women from the perspective of a young man who grew up trying to live up to those expectations (Photo: YouTube).

The short film follows the typical "masculine" guy during his daily activities. He can be seen working out intensely, high-fiving his bros, crushing cans of beers and agressively paddling another guy at a party while calling him a "faggot." He lists the many behavioral differences that are expected from men and women, including how they are supposed to sit, how to hold books, what they should listen to, and which alcoholic beverages to drink.

“I would like for viewers to gain a better understanding of what life feels like in the closet,” filmmaker Michael Rohrbaugh told The Huffington Post. “I also hope they’ll reflect upon their own lives and think about falsehoods that might be holding them back. So many of the social norms we’ve been taught are rooted in discrimination, and so many young people are taught to feel ashamed of who they are, raised to believe that ‘there’s something wrong with them,’ that ‘they’re not normal’ or ‘not who they should be.’ Those types of lies are really destructive, which is why they must be exposed and debunked.”

“American Male” is the winner of MTV’s Look Different Creator Competition, which invited up-and-coming filmmakers to create work surrounding the topic of privilege.

Hillary Clinton Reaches Out to Florida's LGBT Voters

Hillary Rodham Clinton has been in the public eye for over 40 years, and for nearly 25 of those years, she has carved out her own legacy, refusing to be a mere mention alongside her husband, former President Bill Clinton. She served for eight years as United States Senator from New York, and then went on to represent our country abroad as our third female Secretary of State. In the upcoming presidential election, she will face Republican nominee Donald Trump. With just weeks before Election Day, polls show Clinton and Trump in a close battle, with each candidate boasting a loyal voting base. Like in past elections, the turnout from Florida could very well decide the end result this time around (Photo: Adam Schultz).

Recently Secretary Clinton sat down with Mike Halterman to talk about her proposed policies should she be elected, the legacy of the LGBT rights movement, and her vision for our country's future. Read the full interview: Hillary Clinton Reaches Out to Florida's LGBT Voters

The 2016 SMART Ride Benefiting Broward House

On November 18 and 19 about 500 people will ride their bicycles along a 165 mile scenic trek from Miami to Key West in the SMART Ride 2016. They will be supported by 250 volunteer crew members.   In 2015 nearly $1,000,000 was raised and one hundred percent of this money went AIDS Service Organizations in Florida to serve individuals who are HIV positive or to prevent HIV. This was possible because 100% of the ride production was supported by donations and sponsors. Broward House is an honored participant and recipient for the SMART Ride. You could be a part of this fulfilling experience by donating, riding crewing or sponsoring.
