Nestled in a quaint plaza, Tequila Sunrise looks like it has been a staple within the community for years serving hundreds of thousands of people over the years.  I have been to Tequila Sunrise on several occasions, from Lunch to Dinner and have never had a meal I did not like.  After sampling several of the menu items, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Carne Asada,  a NY Strip Skirt Steak with and verde enchilada and Mexican rice.  I’ve also had the Chimichanga which is a crispy deep-fried Burrito Bravo which is then smothered with a tomato sauce and melted cheese.  You cannot go there without seeing or smelling a fajita that will make you order one next time you come in. 

Tequila Sunrise is one of those places where you can always find something on the menu to eat.  With appetizers like dips, quesadillas, and nachos they are all perfect for sharing while with entrees like tacos, enchiladas, tamales you cannot leave hungry.  Oh, did I forget to mention they have a full-stocked bar?  Yes, they have a complete menu of margaritas as well as beer and wine to compliment any meal.  Taking someone with a sensitive stomach?  They have a complete listing of American items with things like BBQ Ribs, chicken, tuna, dolphin and burgers.   

While looking for a good Mexican meal in Oakland Park, you don’t have to look very far, Tequila Sunrise will be your destination for fresh food by people who care.
