Kyojin Japanese Seafood Buffet   Japanese Buffet Kyojin Buffet Kyojin Japanese Buffet Kyojin Buffet

Kyojin Japanese Seafood Buffet is one of the most unique, clean, and all encompassing Japanese Seafood Buffets around. Located just north of the Oakland Park Blvd. on the West side of North Federal Highway, there is a place enjoyed by many, frequented by locals, and definitely an experience you have to repeat.  Between great service and a visually appealing variety of Japanese food, after one visit you will find many of your friends who love Kyojin.

Kyojin Buffet has over 120 feet of buffet space that not only includes a large fresh made Sushi Bar and salad bar, but also a Hibachi station where the chefs will create whatever you would like right before your eyes.  Their Sushi station includes Nigiri Sushi, Sahsimi, as well as Rolls like Rainbow, Mexican, California, and American Dreams.  They have plenty of non-fish and non-seafood items to choose from including a Tempura Salad, Teriyaki items, beef and chicken stir-fry selections.

For those who love things from the sea this is absolutely the place for you to check out.  With peel and eat shrimp, shrimp tempura, scallops, raw oysters and mussels you can’t help but dream about the Alaskan snow crab that is only available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.  Kyojin Japanese Buffet usually features two soups, egg drop and won ton and they also have a daily soup as well.  As a person with an allergy to fish specifically, I really have to be careful.  One of the best parts of the 20” long Sushi and Sashimi Bar is that every roll is labeled with ingredients.  I can fill up on shrimp tempura and dragon rolls but one piece of Tuna could do me in.  While at the bar do not forget to fill up on the Spicy Mayo for dipping, and grab another bowl for the Soy Sauce at the table to dip in as well.  Variety is the spice of life!

In the mood for some fresh made food?  Head on over past the Sushi Bar to the Hibachi station where expert will chop up and stir fry you fresh beef, chicken, or calamari along with a wide variety of vegetables right before your eyes.  Watching them prepare it is truly half the enjoyment.  Kyojin has fresh grilled teriyaki pork Ribs and chicken as well as more shrimp than you can imagine but only available on the weekends.

The Kyojin desert bar has many things for you if you think you need more, with cakes, fresh fruit, ice cream, but you can’t forget about Green Tea!  Known for its medicinal benefits, did you know it also aids in digestion?  Give it 20 minutes and you’ll be back in line.  This is one of those places you want to take out of town guests but on the flip side, the perfect place to go with a friend and eat until you can’t possibly eat any more.  While there, you will be thinking about the next time you can drop by.  Be forewarned, they close between 3 PM and 5 PM daily, and they stop putting things out at 2 PM.  Obviously the Lunch price is reflective of the quality of the quality and you will have to go to at least one Dinner to truly appreciate all Kyojin Buffet has to offer.
