Orton Terrace is located in Fort Lauderdale's gay lodging district about 325 steps away from the white sands of Fort Lauderdale's Central Beach. Fort Lauderdale beach became a gay legend when Connie Francis sang about it in her song, "Where the Boys Are." The rest is history.
