New Movies Out This Week

Green Lantern is a superhero film based on the comic book character of the same name appearing in DC Comics. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, with Martin Campbell directing a script by Greg Berlanti and comic book writers Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim, which was subsequently rewritten by Michael Goldenberg. The film also stars big names such as Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Angela Bassett and Tim Robbins. Mr. Popper's Penguins is an upcoming live-action family comedy film and distributed by 20th Century Fox starring Jim Carrey, based on the children's book of the same name.
