Untraceable Loved It *****(Five Stars)

Congratulations are in order to director Gregory Hoblit for this movie was nothing short of incredible.  Everything was perfect, from the believability of the sets, the character development, the plot, the dialog and the government reactions to this tragic situation.

I will also say this is a scary movie. The scariest idea being that this could really happen in today's society because of our advancements with computers and technology.  I take that back, this movie is not scary, it is down right frightening.

You quickly and easily lend your heart to FBI Agent Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane) who is a widowed, single mother and working the night shift finding computer scammers and other perpetrators of online fraud. She then stumbles onto this horrible web site that kills people kills people faster and faster as more and more people sign onto the web site. This murder machine is run by the sick and twisted Owen Reilly (Joseph Cross), a man that is disturbed beyond repair.

I will say that this movie has all the suspenseful tactics that its needs to be a successful thriller, including the believability factor.  While the murder scenes are extremely gruesome and disgusting, you as the audience are only subjected to the torment enough to get a grasp of what's going on. You are not forced to endure all the madness as you would in a gruesome, slasher flick.

Go see Untraceable. You will truly enjoy it, especially if you like on the edge of your seat suspenseful journeys.
