Misty Eyez Drag Queen Movie Reviews
Misty Eyez

Umm it was Good ***(Three Stars)

The Messengers

This movie was both freaky and scary at the same time.  I was most impressed with the directors (Oxide Pang Chun, and Danny Pang's) ability to keep the audience both guessing and freaked out.

My heart went out to Jess (Kristen Stewart) the young High Schooler in this story.  I don't know what would be worse moving from Chicago to the country, to live on a farm or living in a haunted house, either way she has it bad.  Kristen was brilliant in this role, real, genuine and believable.   As the audience you actually feel her fear and her frustration.

This film was indeed a scary one.  I was on the edge of my chair for most of the film, it was freaky if not scary.  Of course the children were able to see these creatures for they are more sensitive the supernatural.  I think that was the most scary to us as adults, that this could be out there and we could be oblivious to it till its to late.

I enjoyed this journey, I loved the plot,  however I hated that they did not explain the end.  I felt it was cut off too soon with no explanation of how, when,  or why.  However, if you are looking for a scary / thriller you will like this one.  Go see it.
