Hannibal Rising  

This movie was amazing, the color the light the sets the script, it was really good.  I don't think it was half as scary as the previews made it out to be, yet it was still enjoyable.  You will also be able to enjoy this film having no Idea who Hannibal is, it is a good back story, that goes into the birth of a brilliant yet psychotic man.  It was basically free reign for the imagination for he never really touched on his childhood in his stories. 

Hannibal Lector (Gaspard Ulliel) was incredible, he was so believable as the demented creature of a man that it was scary.  Not to mention he is completely Gorgeous, which may have made it worse to be sexually attracted to the face of evil.

There was a surprising cameo from Gong Li who played Lady Murasaki.  She had a bizarre relationship to Hannibal but they seemed to balance each other out, they were both gorgeous and strangely bizarre.

You will enjoy this movie if you go see it.  I don't want to tell you the plot, but I will say that he is a truly demented and tortured soul, which would explain the character we have grown be to fascinated with in the Lecter saga.
