Disturbia  LOVED IT

Wow Disturbia was brilliant, and truly spine chilling.  We live in a crazy world, and this film is most terrifying, in that it could be real life.  As in we could be watching this on reality television.  Who really knows their neighbors?  You could be living on this same street as a serial killer, or you could be dealing with cabin fever and worked your self in to a frenzy of paranoia.  The Director D.J. Caruso did a remarkable job of keeping the audience on the edge of their seat, and keeping the movie very fresh, crisp, clean and very now.  I am also impressed that he kept the film in real time and space with believable characters.

The opening scene of this movie was remarkable and breathtaking.  I was completely shocked in the first 10 minutes, and of course they had me hook line and singer.   We step into the life of Kale (Shia LaBeouf) who is a troubled high schooler who is sentenced to 3 months of house arrest with a single working mother (Carrie-Anne Moss) leaving him home alone for most of the time.   Frustrated with his rebelliousness which is primarily a mixture of depression and laziness cuts him off of XBox and Itunes not leaving him with much to do.   So he then becomes the neighborhood "Peeping Tom," Thus helping the hours go by but then as he discovers some clues that his neighbor bay be a serial killer is when the movie gets intense.

Again the scariest part of this movie is that its realistic and it could happen to any of us.  It wasn't an imaginary monster that is from your imagination.  Its real, and its serious, and its believable.  Go see this film it will creep you out, and you will most definitely enjoy the ride.
