Misty Eyez Drag Queen Movie Reviews

Ratatouille Go See this Movie ****(Four Stars)

Leave it to Disney/Pixar to turn such a disgusting thought into so endearing film.  Seeing a Rat on the street creeps me out, to imagine one cooking your food is beyond unthinkable, however Disney is capable of making an audience fall in love with any animal.  Pixar is wonderfully skilled in capturing bizarre features and detail in the human face.  Every person in the kitchen looked completely different and yet human.

In this uniquely funny story we meet Remy (Patton Oswalt) a rat who has an unexplained desire to cook and learn.  Much like a guy struggling to be gay, his family guilt's him and doesn't quite accept the fact that he is indeed different from them.  He learns to embrace his diversity, and in the end his family came around and accepted him for being unique and different.

Remy becomes friends with Linguini (Lou Romano) an awkward young boy who desperately needs a job.  Together they create masterpieces, and they complete each other making the perfect team.   Remy has a gift and knowledge for food, and Linguini appears to be human where Remy can not.

Go see this movie you will love this truly enjoyable film.  The voices for each character were completely believable and remarkably portrayed.   I will also say that my favorite scene in the movie is when the Granny Lady was trying to get rid of the rats in her Kitchen, it was so cute and so funny.
