Scary Movie 4
Comedy. The Scary Movie gang is back with
send-ups of "War of the Worlds," "The Grudge," "The
Village," "Saw" and "Saw II," "Million Dollar Baby" and much
more. Legendary comedy director David Zucker and producer
Bob Weiss reunite to take aim at some of the best fright
films, the latest box office hits, music, current events,
pop culture, and your favorite celebrities. Anna Faris and
Regina Hall are back as the loveable, dim-witted Cindy
Campbell and her self-serving, sex-crazed pal, Brenda,
respectively - joined this time around by Craig Bierko as
the cute-but-utterly clueless Tom Ryan. Together, they
battle to save the world from a ruthless alien invasion. And
the outrageous celebrity cameos include: Carmen Electra,
Shaquille O'Neal, Dr. Phil, Bill Pullman, Chris Elliott,
Molly Shannon, Michael Madsen, rappers Chingy and Lil' John,
Leslie Nielsen returning as our fearless Commander in Chief,
plus many, many more surprises. 83 minutes. MPAA Rating:
PG-13 (for crude and sexual humor throughout, some comic
violence and language).

GO SEE IT **** (four stars) |

You must go see this movie, if anything to see the
spoof on Tom Cruise, it is hilarious, remember when
he jumped on Oprah's couch -- OMG FUNNY, we get to
re-live it again. I must say that was my favorite
scene in the whole movie, and a close second would
be the Viagra scene, what better to laugh at than
rock hard erections that just wont go down. The
humor in this film is mindless and sometimes quite
cheap, exactly the way that it should be in comedies
like this.

This movie is equally as funny if not funnier than
the first three.
David Zucker is
a comedic genius especially when it comes to
spoofing other movies. In this film we get
parodies of both
Saw, and Saw
2,
War of the Worlds,The
Grudge,
The Village (my
favorite movie of 2005),
Million Dollar Baby, Brokeback
Mountain along with comedic spoofs of
Tom Cruise,
Michael Jackson and
George W. Bush. |

I also think I should tell you that even though King Kong
appears on the actual poster located inside the theatre, I
could not find one reference to King Kong the entire film,
maybe it was cut or maybe it was just a teaser to suck you
in?

The great thing about this sequel is it still
contains many of the original cast members like
Anna Faris,
Regina Hall,
Anthony Anderson and
Charlie Sheen,
and then along with some new faces like
Leslie Nielsen,
Carmen Electra,
singer Chingy and a special appearance from the
girlfriends of Hugh Hefner and stars of the TV show
Girls next door. |

I will tell you that I could not stop laughing with
the bath tub scene, I laughed so much it hurt, and I
also loved it when
Anna Faris was
talking to the little Japanese boy and all they were
saying were Japanese words with American subtitles,
it was quite cute and clever.

Go see this movie it is really fun, and an excellent
film to take your mind off of the regular dramas in
our actual lives. One thing is for certain, you
will laugh, and laugh often. |
