 LOVED IT *****(FIVE STARS)

WOW, you must go see this movie it is absolutely phenomenal, I had to give it five amazing stars for it totally ruled.  If you enjoy intellectual thrillers like Derailed  or movies full of suspense like Wild Things that keep you on the edge of your chair and keep you guessing you will truly enjoy this movie.  Its an intricate web where everyone is connected by the slightest of events.  Hats off to the Director Paul McGuigan; who's last movie was also an interesting movie of mistaken Identity, Wicker Park

The beginning of the film is quite random, and maybe even scattered however if you pay attention it all comes full circle its an ultimate tale of cause and effect, or what goes around comes around.  The Director did an absolutely incredible job of explaining why and how, you leave the theatre thinking, WOW that movie was GREAT, he even explains things you forgot about like the picture taken with the cell phone.
Seeing the talents of Sir Ben Kingsley and Morgan Freeman is worth the price of admission alone however I must say that this film truly belongs to Josh Hartnett for he was absolutely amazing, and truly sucked the audience into his convincingly fearless character who is deeply caught up in this huge mess, yet filled with confidence that his plan will go off effortlessly.  All the while we as the audience are sympathetic from the very beginning, watching him in his state of confusion was priceless.   (p.s. for all you twink boy lovers Josh Hartnett is only clad in a towel for the first 20 minutes of the film.)
This movie is a truly complicated tale of mistaken identity, Slevin (Josh Hartnett) lands in the middle of a huge war against the city's two biggest and arch rival crome bosses.  The Rabbi (Ben Kingsley) and The Boss (Morgan Freeman).  Slevin is under constant surveillance from the mob, the cops, and another hit man called GoodKat (Bruce Willis).  When push comes to shove he is forced to step up to the plate and form his own ingenious plan to get them before he is gotten.  All the while falling in love with the next door neighbor Lindsay (Lucy Liu).  I must tell you my favorite line from this film is when Lindsay (Lucy Liu) says to Slevin (Josh Hartnett) "Hey, I was thinking if your still alive when I get back from work maybe we can do dinner or something."  that and when she asked him when his penis will next be on Exhibit.  Sign me up for the next showing.

Side note the entire movie is full of visually stimulating wall paper in every room we view, its just as exciting and full of movement as the plot.

I should tell you to be careful who you talk to about this movie, like many thrillers can be spoiled by the word of mouth.  If you are like me you will find yourself thinking and trying to figure out what exactly is going on;  However you probably will never understand what is happening until all is explained in the brilliant climactic ending of the film.  A story of mistaken Identity ... Or was it? Maybe this film is even a warning that you will eventually get what is coming to you.  The entire film comes full circle and every little detail was explained, and the audience does not leave wanting or in need of any explanation.  Some would say this is confusing if they did not listen or did not pay attention, however if you are a mystery fan I must tell you to go and see this film.
