Go see it ****(Four Stars) |

If you liked the original
Clerks, then you
will love this movie. It continues with the adventures of
Dante (Brian
O'Halloran) and Randall (Jeff
Anderson), only now they are in their 30's and
this becomes a coming of age film for Gen-X Slackers. When
they have to face the reality that its time to Shit or Get
off the pot -- Essentially its time to grow up. |

This movie is definitely geared to a more slacker type
of audience, or Star Wars - Lord of the Rings - Transformers
kind of audience. Especially with the character Elias who
is a super religious and extremely naive guy who ends up
being the brunt of many many jokes and pranks. My favorite
line in the whole movie is when Elias is telling Randall the
reason he and his girlfriend have never had sex is because
she has a little troll that lives in her pussy called
Princess Pillow Pants. The Princess lives in her vagina
until she is 21 and will bite his penis off if he has sex
with her before then. |

There are several bit part cameos in this film played by big
name actors like Wanda
Sykes ,
Ben Affleck,
Kevin Weisman, and
Jason Lee. They
are done in a tasteful way where you are not pulled from the
movie, you accept them for their brief moment in time and
for the humor they are able to add.

I have to say that my favorite character in this film
was the Manager Becky (Rosario
Dawson) she made the whole movie for me. She
was beautiful and smart, and tender and she was so in love
with Dante and struggled with her emotions as she watched
him and his fiancé. |

Do not bring your children or Parents to see this movie
with you -- Not only is it full of Obscene language, but
there is some unique and very uncomfortable sexual
perversion.
