Go See It ****(FOUR STARS)

The third and most crucial installment of the saga of mutant super heroes.  This film introduces three new characters Beast (Kelsey Grammer ) the Translucent Kitty Pride (Ellen Page recently of the amazing Hard Candy) and Angel (Ben Foster out gay actor) who join the returning cast, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Storm (Halle Berry) Magneto (Ian McKellen also an out gay actor) Dr Jean Gray/Phoenix (Famke Janssen who played the post-op Transsexual in TV's "Nip/Tuck") Cyclops (James Marsden) and the list goes on.

I must say that the Graphics and the special effects were nothing short of amazing they really pulled out all the stops where the budget was concerned.  Yes I really enjoyed this movie and highly recommend it, however I must let you know that I was slightly disappointed with the character development area, I realize that there are so many characters that it's difficult to narrow in but I left the theatre not feeling as though I got to know a single one. I feel he should have made the movie much longer and more in depth, not trying to cram so much into this film. The film felt super rushed.  On a positive note the plot was great.  In this episode they discovered a cure for the mutant gene, and are able to cure all mutants.
As homosexuals we can relate on an intimate and personal level with these mutants being we often have to hide, and or disclose what makes us different to fit into main stream society. These mutants took offense to the thought of the reversing of their abilities in order to make them normal, I kept thinking of the church group called Exodus for reformed homosexuals.
By the way I found my New husband Iron Man, every girls fantasy and in close second Multiple man (Eric Dane is super hot and we also know him as Phoebe's ex boyfriend on TV's "Charmed" )
If you are a super hero fan or comic book fan I must urge you to go see this third chapter in the trilogy even though I felt it was obviously the worst in the trilogy for it was rushed, however that is not to say that it was bad at all (The first two were just far superior) This film's journey is incredible, full of action and jaw dropping special effects not to mention  you will be shocked at who dies and who looses their powers. I must admit I'm already anxious to see the next installment of the X-Men movies. Don't miss this movie even if you haven't seen the first two, you will still enjoy this spectacular film.

Loved it  ***** (FIVE STARS)

X Men is explosive!  If you are in the mood for some amazing computer generated imagery, then this movie is for you.

This movie has all the big named actors you ask for including Halle Barry, Hugh Jackman, and Patrick Stewart.  All of these actors gave great performances.
I'm not a comic book fan at all and I loved every minute of this Sci-Fi Thriller!  Some of the mutant powers that were assigned to the characters were totally cool.  From ice to fire - you name it these cool characters has it.
This installment of X-Men differs a little from it's preceding two.  In this one the X-Men band together to find a mutant assassin who has made an attempt on the President's life, while the Mutant Academy is attacked by military forces.  The plot itself is well developed and kept interesting throughout.  The action in this movie is nonstop.  Loud explosions and violent weather conditions are constantly giving way as these mutant characters battle it out all in the name of survival.  My favorite seen was the last one, when the San Fransisco bridge is torn in two and relocated to Alcatraz Island.  It looked so real - what if an earthquake was to do similar damage some day!
Make sure to go see this movie, it's a great one for all ages.
