& X is located in
Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. The food and ambiance are
literally to die for. The menu was put together with a something for
everyone mentality and I think you'll be hard pressed to not find some
over the top tasty dish to fill up on. Be prepared this place is filled
with NYC theater glitterati and the wait for a table can be forever.
The 44 & X Traditional Caesar Salad with aged Parmesan Crisps is surprisingly hearty and the Salad of Red and Yellow Watermelon, with Vine Ripe Tomatoes, Feta Cheese and Summer Herb Vinaigrette is the kind of inventive twist we love. If you're into fried chicken try the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Collard Greens, Chive Waffle, Black Pepper and Maple Syrup Reduction and if seafood feels like the order of the day, the Orange Dusted Maine Lobster with Braised Asparagus, Sweet Corn, Artichoke and Wild Watercress, Blood Orange Vinaigrette is amazing. |
