Located in
New York City's Hell's Kitchen district, the two-level VLADA Lounge
opened in April 2006, after more than a year of renovations. The stylish
and sophisticated decor was designed by the late Michael Chase, interior
designer and Barney’s window decorator.
The downstairs, with its sleek,
curved wooden ceilings is reminiscent of a luxury railroad car from
yesteryear. The upstairs has been redone to create a more relaxed lounge
feel. Complete with sheik leather couches, a DJ booth, a stage and a
full bar, the upstairs lounge at Vlada is the perfect place for birthday
parties, corporate events and private parties.
The full dinner and light snacks menu is prepared by a top-rated chef.
From light finger foods to full entrees to cheese plates, VLADA Lounge
offers a great alternative for pre-or post-theater cuisine. Table
service is available upstairs or downstairs.
Some of the signature house drinks at VLADA Lounge are the
infused vodkas. There are 16 different kinds, ranging from
cranberry and apple/cinnamon to dill and horseradish. Made in-house by
Vlada herself, each infused vodka is made with all-natural
ingredients-real fruits, spices or herbs - and a few secret ingredients
(that only the KGB knows for sure).
Because VLADA Lounge is located in the heart of the Broadway theater
district, it is a natural gathering place for actors, singers, dancers,
artists, writers, comedians, designers, and those who just want to be
themselves. Many of the top talent from this world appear nightly at VLADA Lounge,
and there's never a cover charge. Events are always held on the upstairs
level. And because of Vlada's long-standing personal connections with
performers, you just might find Cyndi Lauper and Alan Cumming dropping
by for a drink, or Liza or Chaka Khan dropping by for a turn at the
piano.
Vlada's Infused Vodkas and stylish atmosphere are also creating a buzz
in Midtown
Miami since the opening of
Vlada
Mia in early 2009.
