K O Prime - Boston - header
KO Prime is Boston's modern steakhouse.

KO Prime - cuisineAscend a wide staircase and enter an urban atmosphere alive with energy. Smell the sizzling beef. See chic young Bostonians and businesspeople in the dramatic chocolate and garnet-colored dining room. Hear the distinctive rattle of shaken chilled martinis. Feel the sensuous cowhide love seats in our luxurious lounge. You've arrived.

The KO Prime difference lies in its extensive menu, created by James Beard Award-winning chef Ken Oringer. Creative takes on fish, seafood, game and offal combined with side dishes and garnishes unheard-of at traditional steakhouses, sets us apart. Leave the "classics" to others. KO Prime is edgy, appealing and totally 21st century.

What makes a modern steakhouse ?

* A menu that rewards adventurous diners with a variety of quality meats (beef, pork, lamb) prepared by a chef chosen Best Chef: Northeast by the prestigious James Beard Foundation
* Lots of coastal options for non-carnivores. Pristine fish seafood, plus a raw bar, keep everyone satisfied and reminds you that you're not in Kansas
* A commitment to local sourcing that translates to salad greens grown on the restaurant's rooftop, and fresh vegetables from small area farms.

Naturally, KO Prime also has a comprehensive wine list, the kind of crisp service you'd expect, intimate private dining, and a sexy cocktail lounge.

Chef Ken Oringer lends his imagination to the bar with a cocktail menu, organized by past, present and future drinks that are rich in history, flavor and cutting-edge techniques. In a playful homage to Boston's history, "A Taste of the Past," selections include The Boston Tea Party which is served in a chilled tea cup and made with Clement, Martinique Rhum, Creole Schrubb, chai tea and lime juice. "A Taste of the Present" jolts the taste buds with drinks like One Hot Minute, made with Milagro Blanco Tequila, Lillet Blanc, Jalapeno Tabasco, muddled cucumber & apple juice. For a flash into the future, sample liquid nitrogen cocktails like The Green Tea Calamansi Gimlet made with Hangar One Kaffir Lime Vodka, calamansi lime juice, ginger & green tea.
