Atlanta's Midtown Art Cinema was
built in 1987 and features 8
screens. The movie theater is
located in the Midtown Promenade
Center (at 8th & Monroe), the
Midtown Art Cinema and has
quickly become the premier home
for independent, foreign
language and documentary films
in the heart of Atlanta.
The renovated lobby is a sight
to see! The concession stand
boasts a fine selection to
choose from including gourmet
candies, baked goods and a full
espresso bar. The art deco
design is an inviting place for
guests to meet and visit with
friends before a film. It does
not take more than a few steps
outside of the theatre to enjoy
international cuisine at not
one, but two restaurants in the
courtyard. Several other
eateries are also located in the
shopping center.
The Midtown Art Cinema welcomes
customers with special needs.
All auditoriums are fully
accessible. There is also a
special box office window
located just inside the entrance
doors, as well as accommodations
at our concession stand and
restrooms.
