Tierra
is an exciting Latin American and Caribbean bistro featuring
the cuisines of South and Central America the Caribbean and Mexico. In
addition to presenting traditional dishes from these regions, we also
use the many flavors and ingredients of the continent to create special
dishes.
Tierra is the first and only authentic restaurant of its kind in
Atlanta. It has received high ratings from Zagat, which listed it among
its “Top Restaurants in America”. Tierra has consistently been included
in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Top Fifty restaurants and has been
on the “Best of Atlanta” list of Atlanta Magazine every year since they
opened. Tierra’s recipes have been featured in Bon Appetit, Flavors, and
Atlanta Magazine.
In addition to a seasonal menu, Dan and Ticha also celebrate the
individual country by having five to six “National Day Weeks” each year
when in addition to the regular menu a single country is featured in a
three course prix fix of truly authentic recipes. These menus are very
popular because customers have a rare opportunity to enjoy what would be
a home cooked meal in the country featured and at a reasonable price.
