This unique Romanian Restaurant in Florida was opened in
1996 by John Baleanu, originally from Romania. The chef
worked in Romania for a number of years and has a strong
affinity for the cuisine of the Eastern European region,
and his menus at Transylvania Restaurant reflect the
bounty of Romania with a host of delightful new European
sensations.
For lunch at Transylvania Romania try the grilled
eggplant spread served with tomatoes and onion, the
stuffed cabbage rolls served with polenta and Sour cream
or the Russian chicken stroganoff served with mashed
potatoes. The dinner menu includes Hungarian beef
goulash served with polenta, pan seared rainbow trout
dusted with corn flour and spices then slow pan-fried
and served with polenta or the Russian pork stroganoff
made with thin strips of pork loin in a Vodka sauce
served with mashed potatoes.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday enjoy live folk music
with an international flair while you eat and drink.
Every Sunday there is a gourmet all-you-can-eat buffet
for only $12 a person and if you register on the
Transylvania Romania site, you can print out
discounts. |
