Within the Gateway Shopping Plaza off Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale lies a unique and special restaurant that I have enjoyed on every visit.  With a menu as large as Asia, Heart Rock Sushi can accommodate any taste bud and with top notch service your meal will be as wonderful as you think it should be.

Heart Rock Sushi is definitely a great place to bring friends, relatives, coworkers, or even dates. With a vast menu that not only includes Japanese dishes, Sushi, and seafood dishes they also have a full Specialty Thai Menu as well.  Start with Mussels Miso Soup and then you can try the Ebi Tempura, which is deep-fried lightly battered shrimp and vegetables that are excellent for two people to share.  All of their menu names are in Japanese but their definitions are in English so do not fret—you will find what you want!  Not in the mood for Shrimp Tempura?  Why not try the Shumai which are chicken and vegetable dumplings that are steamed or fried.  How about the Beef Tataki?  It’s thinly sliced rare beef that is served with ponzu sauce, scallion, and spices.

Are you not sure about your Sushi?  Are you a little apprehensive about ordering?  Well, the staff at Heart Rock Sushi is fully trained and qualified to assist you in ordering and all of their sushi is made to order and on premises.  With Sushi Bar tables you are able to casually watch how these masters create their works of art and see a time honored tradition unfold from their special bamboo mats.  They offer over twenty traditional and widely known rolls on their menu but they also hand roll Sumaki, Temaki, and Shashimi.  They even let you create your own Sushi with a complete list of A La Carte items like:  shrimp, fried tofu, crab, squid, Albacore tuna, Mackerel, Scallops, Octopus and many more.

Surprising Dining Restaurant Guide is a feature of Mark's ListAre you in the mood for fresh grilled Yakitori?  Well, they will take your choice of: mushrooms, zucchini, chicken, shrimp, scallops, beef, calamari, Yellowtail jaw, or salmon grilled and served with a teriyaki sauce.  They also have a variety of Yaki Mono like Chicken Teriyaki and Age Mono with Shrimp Tempura.  The best would be under the Menrui section, the Yaki Soba that is amazing Japanese traditional noodle dish that has fresh beef, soybean noodles, and vegetables.  Within their Special Thai Menu they have all the things you would expect like:  Tom Yam Kai Soup, Beef Salad, and Pad Thai Noodles.  They also offer the choice of Curry, Garlic Sauce, Ginger, or Cashew Nut dishes with beef, chicken, shrimp, or squid.

After entering Heart Rock Sushi, sitting down, dining, and looking around you will feel like you have entered a fun restaurant in Japan.  Afterwards you will have to open the door of reality to Sunrise Boulevard.  It will definitely make you think about what you will have on your next trip and whom will you bring with you.
