For these four days in October, the Fort Lauderdale
Gay and Lesbian Film Festival celebrates an
exceptional lineup of LGBT film. Red Hot Highlights-
Opening Night on Thursday at Cinema Paradiso we
travel back to 1987 to meet a “Dirty Girl” and
her new gay BFF Clarke. We continue our travels on
Friday to Germany with two sizzling hot films, “Shahada”
and “We Are The Night.” Brazil turns in what may be
the sleeper hit, “So Hard To Forget” and filmmaker
Casper Andreas returns to turn up the heat with
“Going Down in La-La Land.” To add to the excitement
we will have exceptional documentaries that
highlight women in music with “Hit So Hard” and
“Wish Me Away.” For Closing Night, we experience a
British invasion with two beautiful time pieces with
“The Night Watch” and “Christopher and His Kind.” |
