Lesbian Heroes
of the Women's Movement Presentation RESCHEDULED!
NEW DATE: Thursday, April 8th, 2010 - 7:30pm
 
 
Due to the Passover and Easter holidays, Eleanor Pam's presentation at The Boca Rap Group has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 8th.
 
Dr. Eleanor Pam is a pioneer and veteran of the Women's Movement. She is Co-founder of NOW's first Education Committee; she directed and founded City University of New York Domestic Violence Center and Women's Resource Centers; was a Member of Rudolph Giuliani's Mayoral Committee to Combat Family Violence; participated in FBI think tanks about intimate violence and the police, founded and directed the Domestic Violence Research Center at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and worked in its Inmate Education Program.
 
Dr. Pam's presentation, entitled "Lesbian Heroes of the Women's Movement: Our Gay Foremothers and How they Changed the World", will begin at 7:30pm.
 
The Boca "Rap" Group is held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Boca Raton , 2601 St.Andrews Blvd.

From the turnpike. exit Glades Road and go east to St. Andrews Blvd. Turn left (north) on St. Andrews Blvd. and go approximately two blocks. The church is on the left.
