The Animal Rescue Fund was founded out of a love for animals. After doing a great deal of research within the animal community they figured out that the best way to make as big a difference as possible was to raise funds to help the financially strapped, but committed local Animal Rescues and out of that realization came Boomerang's.

The most difficult task was to determine which organizations were doing the best work and would benefit from additional funding. In the end, the Animal Rescue Fund decided that 3 stood out because of their commitment to the animals. The current beneficiaries of Boomerangs Thrift Store are the Good Karma Pet Rescue, Lady Luck Animal Rescue and Stray Aid & Rescue.
