Compound
is a gay bar located south of downtown
Denver, Colorado on Broadway and 2nd. This
Denver icon has been serving up good times in the Mile High City
since 1987. The thing that makes Compound bar unique is that it
opens at 7am. That makes this bar perfect for those winding down
in the morning after a late night shift at work. Compound is
open more than they are closed having a daily schedule from
7am-2am.
Basix is the gay nightclub located directly next
to Compound. This hot spot is equipped with amazing light shows,
DJ’s spinning the freshest beats, and a large dance floor. The
weekend nights are hopping and even Wednesdays are a blast in
the middle of the week. Behind the dance club and bar is a
fabulous patio that is perfect in the warm summer months.
The bartenders at Compound and Basix free pour all their
liquor and never use a machine or measuring device to make
cocktails. They always seem to have amazing drink specials going
