Hash House A Go Go
, in San Diego, CA creates unique comfort food from fresh agriculture and live stock. Known for their “twisted farm food,” many of their dishes are award-winning and their breakfast and brunch have especially won many accolades. When you see their breakfast menu, you will understand. Their HH Original Benedict features split fresh buttermilk biscuit, market tomato, spinach, roasted red pepper cream, all topped with two basted farm eggs; their griddled French Toast is their signature Amish style bread dipped in a banana cinnamon cream with pecan maple syrup. They have flapjacks, waffles, house hashes, favorite scrambles, farm benedicts and Indiana favorites. The menu is quirky and you can tell the owners have a sense of humor – they offer the O’Hare of The Dog, which is a signature 24-ounce of Budweiser in a bag and a side of bacon.

Their lunch and dinner items are equally impressive. Check out their World Famous Griddled Meatloaf with smoked mozzarella and roasted red peppers all on fresh Amish style milk bread; the New York Time's Favorite – Sage Fried Chicken and Bacon Waffles crowned with fried leeks and a maple reduction; Duck Mac & Cheese, which features smoked cheddar mac & cheese, pancetta and fresh duck skewer; their Tried & True Andy's Polenta with melted brie cheese, fresh asparagus and sundried tomato pesto; and their Crispy Big O' Ravioli stuffed with prosciutto, goat cheese, house roasted tomato and topped with chipotle sour cream.

The portions of the dishes are huge at this unique eatery. You’ll definitely want to check it out.
