Cafe on Park is a cool mix of
hipsters and scenesters looking hot and enjoying the tasty food. There's
typically a wait for breakfast, so arrive early.
Dinner is equally busy and the menu is varied with salads, sandwiches,
fish and red meat. If you're hungry, try the pork tenderloin and
asparagus served with penne pasta and sun dried tomato pesto or the free
form lasagna made with chicken, spinach, mushrooms, smoked mozzarella
cheese and marinara sauce.
Sandwiches are great for lunch and we suggest you try the steak sandwich with
sautéed onions
and red peppers served on French bread or the not so traditional grilled
chicken breast sandwich
served on a wheat bun w/sprouts, tomato & red onion with chili mayo.
As we mentioned the salads are also great in particular, oriental salad
with crab cakes, spring greens, cabbage, fresh vegetables, sprouts and
cashews, tossed in a sesame-honey dressing and the pecan salad mixed
greens with pears, honey roasted pecans, gorgonzola cheese crumbles with
a rice wine vinaigrette.
