Jake's Ready to Eat Palm Springs CaliforniaThis is the first restaurant venture for Christopher Malm and Bruce Bloch.

Chris has the trainer for Jean-Georges Vongerichten's restaurant group located in New York City. Chris helped the renowned chef open five restaurants in three years including Spice Market, 66 and V-Steakhouse. Bruce spent most of his career working in Advertising as a Creative Director for some of New York's leading advertising agencies.

Jake's Ready to Eat offers a full menu of freshly prepared food. Relax and have lunch, drinks, dinner or Sunday brunch in their sleek dining room, charming courtyard or pick out your choices for take-out. Jake's always seeks out the freshest ingredients so their menu offerings change often with the seasons.

For something lighter, try the Roasted Beet & Arugula Salad with slowly roasted beets with arugula tossed in honey shallot vinaigrette, topped with walnuts, goat cheese & avocado (vegetarian) or the Seared Ahi Tuna Wrap made with organic greens lightly tossed in a soy-sesame-sake vinaigrette & tomatoes rolled with wasabi aioli.

Main courses include a Pork Chop with sage applesauce, wasabi mashed potatoes and asparagus, Crab Cake with  chipotle tartar sauce, coleslaw and sugar snap peas or  the Tower of Eggplant with mozzarella, ricotta, tomato sauce and asparagus (vegetarian).

Desserts are made fresh daily at Jake's and there could be chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate cherry cookies, pecan wedges, coconut/peanut wedges, cupcakes, crumb coffee cake, brownie pie or a white chocolate/toffee crunch cake.
