Hair
of the Dog's menu is extensive, so here are some highlights to
give you an idea of the type of quality fare you can expect when you
step inside their restaurant. The menu includes brunch, lunch and
dinner. For brunch we recommend the Deep-dish breakfast pie consisting
of scalloped potatoes, cheddar cheese, peameal bacon, ham, onions,
peppers, two eggs either poached or scrambled topped with Hollandaise.
Served with grilled challah. There's also huevos rancheros, breakfast
skillet and "The Day After's Best Friend", a healthy mix of homemade
granola with fruit salad and vanilla flavored probiotic yogurt. Topped
with a soft granola bar. A great source of guilt relief.
For
dinner try the Three Cheese Meatloaf, Layers of
ground beef, veal and chorizo sausage are wrapped around parmesan,
cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Served over mashed potatoes and seasonal
vegetables, topped with gravy.
The delicious food is made in-house, with only the freshest
ingredients. If you're tempted by what we mentioned, you're going to
love the rest of their menu, along with Hair of the
Dog's friendly servers and our comfortable, cozy atmosphere.
Come, sit, stay. Or fetch—they do take-out too. Hair of the Dog has
several dining experiences available including an upstairs dining room
for a quieter dining experience.
As the summer sun fades and the ivy changes color, their
downstairs bar and dining area offers a cozy spot to get warm and
recharge. Whether for a quick drink or an elegant meal, Hair of the Dog
has what you're looking for. The patio at Hair of the Dog has been voted
one of the top ten in downtown Toronto, not to mention the best in the
neighborhood. The large space features three fountains and a stone pond
with ornamental grasses, the tables adjoining the pond are favorites
among our regulars, soon to be regulars, owners and staff alike.
Finally, a brilliant new rooftop patio let's you watch the crowds while
dining above street level.
You may have to navigate around the north corner of this intersection to see the Google Earth View
