Breakfast is a lovingly restored Victorian townhouse, circa
1890, located on a quiet residential McGill street. It is a tranquil,
shady, safe retreat in the middle of all the hustle
 of
a busy metropolitan Toronto. Renevations were undertaken in 1994-96,
taking care to retain the existing woodwork, stained glass features,
antique fixtures and character while adding all the modern amenities in
period reproductions to complement the old.The Bed & Breakfast is small and intimate with 5 air conditioned guestrooms sharing two baths, and a 6th guest room with private bath. Guests share a reception room, kitchen/dining room and a peaceful garden/deck. Dave, the owner and Jessie live in a separate 3rd floor apartment ensuring guests have maximum privacy on the ground, 1st and 2nd floors. House on McGill is excelently located walking distance to the theatre district, shopping at the 300 shop Eaton Centre, Yonge St. shopping, the financial district and numerous restaurants, sports facilities, galleries museums bars and clubs. |
