The restaurant at Island House Resort is one of
Key West's best spots for casual dining. The
restaurant is open 24 hours a day and you do not have to be a hotel guest to
enjoy the tasty treats!

Island
House's tropical outdoor restaurant is situated under a canopy next to the pool
and offers a wide variety of food that includes beef, chicken, fish, soups,
salads and pastas as well as finger foods like chicken tenders, onion rings and
waffle fries. 
On
our most recent trip to Key West we dined at Island House twice. Our first visit
was with seven friends and we ordered the gamut of the menu. The burger was
raved about as were the fries and onion rings. We also loved the chicken
sandwich served blackened. Other favorites included the Island House Wrap made
with your choice of grouper, ham, turkey breast or shrimp, the skirt steak
sandwich and the grouper sandwich. On the second visit we went back for our
favorites, the burger and the skirt steak sandwich. 
Later
on in the weekend we were talking with some friends about our great lunch and
they recommended the Tropical Chicken Salad sandwich made with chunks of breast
meat, almonds and macadamia nuts, pineapple, coconut, mayonnaise and a touch of
honey to sweeten it up. We'll definitely try that on our next visit.
