and pedi's for a cure
On Thursday, September 25, 2008, Spas and Salons located in Broward and Miami-Dade counties will unite
to help those living with HIV/AIDS in
South Florida by
donating a portion of their day’s proceeds to Care Resource,
South Florida’s oldest and largest HIV/AIDS community service
organization. On that day by just going out for some self pampering and
getting a manicure, pedicure, massage, facial or any of the other
fabulous sessions the salons and spas offer you will be helping those in
South Florida infected/affected with HIV/AIDS.
The Spa at The Grand Resort –
Located on Fort Lauderdale Beach, The Spa at The Grand Resort has been
named one of the ten best gay-owned spas by OutTraveler Magazine. Their
body treatments are done in the European style with products formulated
in Europe and the U.S. They offer specialty facials and scrubs and can
customize any body treatments to suite their clients needs. Their
treatments provide relaxation, rehydration, cell removal, cleansing and
polishing to reveal a newer fresher you. This spa will be contributing
20% of their days proceeds to the agency.
Aquanox Spa –
Located in the
Trump International
Beach Resort
in Sunny Isles. Here, cutting-edge technology combines with natural
holistic secrets to relax, rejuvenate and restore your inner balance and
enhance your natural beauty. Treatments include massages, hydrotherapy,
facials, body treatments, enhancements and waxing at our Miami day spa.
They’ll gladly create a custom spa program just for you or your group.
Simply tell them what you are looking to achieve and they will develop a
truly unique experience just for you. This spa will be contributing 30%
