Pride of the Palm Beaches just ended and
preparations are already underway for next year's event. Attendance has
multiplied exponentially in the past few years and now exceeds nearly 20,000
over the two days of the event. The event benefits Compass GLCC of Palm Beach.
Spectacular, continuous entertainment includes world class DJs like
Oren Nizri (named as one of
Mark's List Top Ten DJs in Florida) and
entertainers that include Ms. Cleo (the world famous Psychic), Bev McClellan and
the Terri Catlin Band.
The two day event generally draws a more
lesbian crowd on Saturday and seems to be geared toward a broader audience on
Sunday which is kicked off by a parade on downtown Lake Worth's Lucerne Street.
Over 100 vendors fill the grounds of Bryant
Park making the event a full day of networking, eating, drinking and celebrating
one of the best months to live in South Florida. |
