Those of you who want to know
what are the new and best restaurants to go to will be happy to hear about the
Blu Pizza e Cuchina in Mary Brickel Villiage in Miami. This place is
amazing in aesthetics as well as delightful in taste. What is deceptive is the
fact that when you walk down South Miami Avenue you will see the tables with
umbrellas and you might be able to glimpse in, but trust me when I say you have
to walk in to truly experience Blue Pizza e Cucina.
What
is amazing about this restaurant is that with all the décor and First Class
service, the basic element of a great restaurant—the food, is not only
amazing, but affordable. When deciding on a pizza, you have three different
styles to go forward with: white, pomodoro sauce, or the signature pizza and
all have the option of being made with organic soy flour. I chose both the
Margherita pizza which had mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil, but my favorite
was a pizza that featured fresh calamari and arugula . The time that it took to
come to the table is almost unheard of, but since they have a real wood-burning
oven it only takes a matter of minutes to have a personalized pizza which is
bigger than most restaurants’ individual pizzas. Another amazing feature only
at Blu Pizza is that they are one of the few restaurants around that have
Natura Water at the tables. For those who do not know, Natura Water offers
cleaner, healthier, and better tasting water that is free of a lot of minerals
and chlorine but dispenses both chilled sparking and still water.
Blu Pizza e Cucina is the third restaurant by
owner Luca Delougu, with both Trattoria Sole and Blu la
Pizzaria del Sole are main staples in South Miami. Blu Pizza e Cucina is
located in Mary Brickell Village in the heart of Brickell and is open until
midnight for all the late night visitors. Be sure to sit inside or in the
courtyard to truly experience this exceptional Italian restaurant.
