After high school Jason had opportunities to go to college to run track and he did for a short time but then realized that kind of lifestyle wasn't for him.  He knew there was more out there for him.  At the age of 21 he decided to go find out what it was that he desired. He went to Los Angeles, which was a big change from his hometown.  He managed to get his picture published in several fitness magazines but decided he still wanted more.  Since Jason is a very sexual person and has a body that exudes sex appeal, he decided to try doing some adult films for Jet Set Productions.  He made several videos for Jet Set that became a big success.  He had definitely made his name.

In February 2004 Michael Youens; the Director of Development and Production for Falcon Studios, contacted him.  Falcon offered him a contract to become their new Lifetime Exclusive and he decided to accept their offer.  He appeared in 3 of their new movies.  After 7 months of working with them he realized he was very unhappy and after many long discussions Jason and Falcon decided to go separate ways. 

He has now decided to work independently for various companies.  Jason has appeared in Jet Set's new series Wet Palms.  He is very excited to start down a new path in his career and hopes his fans follow him into his future endeavors.  I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jason prior to a performance at Cupids Cabaret in West Palm Beach for an exclusive interview.

GIO     This is your first time to South Florida, how do you like it down here? 

JA       Yes, this is my first time in Florida ever.  So far it has been a great experience, except the weather…but you cannot really control that. (It was raining all weekend) As far as this club though, Cupids Cabaret is bar-none the best compared to other clubs I have performed at.  Everyone here is really great and they have accommodated me very well. 

GIO     Good, I am glad to hear that.  We like Cupids and it is great that you are being treated well here as a performer.  I understand you grew up in the Mid-West, and were very athletic.  Were you very popular in school? 

JA       Umm, I was very quiet actually and I stayed to myself.  I never went to any of the parties or other stuff.  I lived with my Uncle and helped him out.  I was an outstanding athlete in track and they did not even make me go to practice since I did so well.  So as far as school was concerned I did exactly what I needed to do to finish, because I knew there was something better out there for me besides going to college and working a 9-to-5 job. 

GIO     Do you come from a big family? 

JA       I come from a very small dysfunctional family full of alcoholics and drug addicts, believe it or not. 

GIO     Well I am sorry to hear that.  Since I am not Barbara Walters, I won’t go into all of that.  From what I can tell, you turned out pretty good though. 

JA       Well they showed me the path not to follow. 

GIO     You started out modeling for fitness magazines?

JA       Yes, at the beginning that is how I started. 

GIO     Obviously you work out, you have an amazing body.  How often are you hitting the gym? 

JA       3-5 days a week, as much as I can. 

GIO     And, at what point did you decide after doing fitness modeling that pursuing a career in the adult industry was going to be your thing? 

JA       Well to start out with I really just thought it would be a quick way to make a few extra dollars.  But overnight the immediate fame became unbearable for me, so I stopped doing it for about a year.  Then one day I thought to myself, I have already done it and I became popular without even being popular; so I might as well make something of the popularity and this could pay my bills for the rest of my life.  So I decided to make this into an entertainment type of thing, instead of just doing one gig here and one gig there…make some money and then go party, I would make this into more.  So I focused this to be a full time career for now. 

GIO     What do you consider your best physical attribute? 

JA       My mind. 

GIO     I like that answer.  Outside porn, what are you passionate about? 

JA       My family 

GIO     What was your first experience on a porn shoot like for you? 

JA       Oh wow, it was Viagra induced and I just tried not to think about it too much and just did it.  I couldn’t get hard and I kept trying and trying, and then I just thought to myself, ok you are thinking too much about it…so I might as well not think about it and just do it because I committed to doing it.  So that is the philosophy I take to the set with me today. I just show up and I do not overly think about it and just do what I need to do.  I don’t think about it until afterwards and that works for me.   

GIO     That is an interesting approach.  Do you ever watch yourself on film after it is all over and released to the public? 

JA       I haven’t watched myself on film, not even one time.  The reason I do not watch is because I do not want to affect the way I perform and I think if I watch it, I would probably think something looks stupid. Basically what I think looks good and what someone else thinks look good is never the same.  I listen to what the fans say and what they tell me looks good.  I mean I am not into anal, but everyone else is, so I have to take it in that direction.  (See below for news about Jason’s first scene as a bottom).  

GIO     Do you have a favorite film? 

JA       Hmmm…Do I have a favorite…this is a good one.  I like (looking deeply), I really like Man of the Year, because it was when Jet Set was first starting out, they are a bigger company now, and they didn’t really have a director and producer.  I had a lot of freedom on that shoot, they let me pick the cast and the way everything went and that was total control for me; I felt so free.  That is the direction that Jet Set is going back to now.

GIO     Speaking of Jet Set, I know that is where you started; how many movies did you do for them before you branched out? 

JA       I did three movies for them and then branched out.  I then went to Falcon and as everyone probably knows, I got out of my contract with them and I started talking to other companies like AMG and then Jet Set recently came to me with an offer to produce and direct, so I am now back with them for now.  

GIO     Well you have done well so far.  I know that Michael Youens brought you on at Falcon as a Lifetime Exclusive and then you got out of your contract with them. Michael is now with AMG and he brought you over there to do AMG Resurrection (his latest release), I assume that there were no bridges burned with him? 

JA       Ummm…Michael and I are very good friends and if Falcon would have not fired him, I would probably still be there to tell you the truth.  They fired him and then decided that they did not owe us money for food from a shoot, because they needed more money for limos for the president of the company and stuff like that, so I said this is not where I want to be, and I decided I wanted out of my contract.  So they fired him and I then got out of my contract.  I could not believe they fired him after 12 years of loyalty to that company; it was ridiculous…he got screwed so badly.

GIO     Well he has landed well with AMG and is re-starting a classic name in male erotica and doing well with that, plus you got to be the big star of their first feature. 

JA       Yes, it was a good thing.  And he has partnered with me on my website now and incorporated with me. 

GIO     Really?  That is great.  Speaking about your website, I have perused it and it looks very good.  What can the fans expect to see when signing up on www.JasonAdonis.com?  

JA       Well for the last year and a half I have lived so far out in the country that I could not do anything major with it because I did not have high-speed.  But now the site is totally high-tech.  We have recently signed a few other models exclusively to the website and they will be doing films and other stuff.  I am starting live webcams with me and other people.  I will also be doing some video stuff that will only be available for download on the website exclusively.  As we all know, the Internet is the place to be and we also know that President Bush is trying to get rid of porn, but he will not be able to get rid of the Internet. 

GIO     That is true, he certainly cannot shut down the World Wide Web, although he may think he can (both laugh). When I watch porn, I like to see the blooper scenes, what is your most funny or embarrassing moment while shooting? 

JA       Wow (Laughs) that is a good one Gio….  I guess one time Jet Set did catch me watching some straight porn and they actually put that in the bloopers on the DVD, that was pretty funny.

GIO     If you had to describe yourself as an animal, what would you be and why? 

JA       An animal….hmmmm…do I have enough time to think about this one? (he looks bewildered)  Oh, I know! (Gets excited) I think I would be a Pit-Bull because people think they are stupid but they are not.  They do not reveal what they are thinking until it is time. 

GIO     That is a great answer.  It may be obvious…but Cats or dogs? 

JA       Dogs, I have a dog-named Kato and he is a Pit Bull, he is black and is a beautiful dog. 

GIO     Boxers or Briefs? 

JA       Depends on the situation.  Because, not every pair of underwear looks good in a pair of jeans, you gotta figure out which ones work. 

GIO     Well…you are a fashion expert as well (both laugh) If I were to ask your closet friends what your best attribute is, what would they tell me? 

JA       My best friend, as a male, is my uncle and he would probably tell you that my best attribute would be that I am a little crazy and would do anything for him and go to any extreme. 

GIO     Do you get recognized in public and is that ever awkward for you? 

JA       It is not awkward at all and I use it to get a little free PR.  I mean…if they recognize me, I will let them know what I am doing, where I am going to be and stuff like that.  You never know, that could be the next person that buys a membership to my Website or buys a movie and spends that $30 on me.  If I were rude to them they would not do that.  I try to give everyone the same respect that they give to me. 

GIO     That is a great attitude to have.  If you had any advice for anyone wanting to get into this industry what would it be? 

JA       Do not sign an exclusive contract with anyone.  Go out and see what you can do and find a good agent.  Because the studios are there to use you no matter what they say.   Most of the studio people are not worried about you, but rather themselves and what they get out of it after the movie is released and how good they look at the after party (he laughs).  Have an agent that works with you and for you. 

GIO     Is there one ultimate fantasy that you have yet to fulfill? 

JA       For me it would be for me to be totally behind the camera producing my own stuff without having to perform, except when I want to.  I want to film the hottest stuff and if I see it is not going right, I can jump right in with the guys and show them how it should look.  I want to be like Seymore Butts, I give him props and like the way he works. 

GIO     If you were able to perform with anyone, who would it be and why.

JA       That’s easy, Tyler Gunn.  I was supposed to do a big movie with him, Taking Flight for Falcon and they treated him so poorly before the shoot that he quit and left town.  I was looking forward to working with him and two days before we were scheduled to shoot he left town.  His quitting was over all that stupid food per-diem stuff at Falcon and that they were not going to give us money for food while we were shooting.  He said, “Screw you I am leaving” and now he will not come back in the industry because of the bad taste they put in his mouth about it.  It was sad…

GIO     That is sad.  Is there anyone that you have worked with that you really enjoyed or would want to work with again? 

JA       Yeah, actually I worked with a new guy Chad Leigh on AMG Resurrection and he was a very down to earth, genuinely nice and a very clean person.  That is very important to me on a set and I would like to work with him again.  As a matter of fact, he and his Agent Howard from FabScout came here tonight to see me perform and I think I will have him join me onstage if he is into it.

JA       Just stick around, as I try to please them as much as they please me!
