I understand you grew up in Australia
and a number of other Countries, as your family moved around a lot when you were
young. Tell me about how moving around shaped you as the person you are today.
Brad
Well, having lived in 3 different countries with 3 different languages as a kid
in school…I had the opportunity to learn so much that my peers weren't able too.
I believe it has given me a good understanding and a deeper tolerance for
different cultures. And what could be more important than this in today’s world.
Just look at the lack of understanding that we have right now for anybody who is
different and who doesn’t think like us!

Very well said! You have been a figure skater since the age of 9. You have
competed internationally in this sport and through multiple injuries you have
been able to keep going. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment as a
skater?
Brad
Well, it is not any title, that I would call my biggest achievement in skating.
But probably when I came back from a dislocated leg and a fractured kneecap at
age 24, when nobody thought I would be back on the ice again. Within a year of
that, I had my first principal contract on a skating show!! But I really hope
that my competing in Montreal
for the
Out Games will be my biggest
achievement. I want to get out there and do some tricks that I haven’t done for
years!!!

You spent a number of years performing with
Disney On Ice,
how was traveling all over the world with those shows for you?
Brad
Oh, I absolutely loved it!! I was at the perfect age to get out and explore the
world, for myself this time! And being in a show like that, people there become
your extended family! However after 6 years of it, I was sick of the hotel
rooms, and the constant packing of suitcases!! But never sick of the skating,
well maybe those 10am shows...haha...

Yeah, it can be tough being on the road all the time. You have stated you come
from a religious family, how was the coming out process for you?
Brad
Well my coming out was, at age 22. My family moved back to Australia, again. But I remained in
Sweden.
3 months after they moved I ended up on my first skating show in
Mexico!!
And for the first time, I could openly be myself; this was a wonderful time in
my life, just coming out, and traveling around the world. What more could a
young gay boy want!

As a young man you have stated that you did not have your growth spurt until
your later teen years. When going through puberty, did you know that you were
larger than average below the belt?
Brad
Oh God no!! I was such a small kid for such a long time. That I think I am
scared for life, as seeing myself as a small kid!! Ha-ha... It was not until my
first sexual encounter at age 22 that I realized that I was larger than the
average male.
GIO
What age were you when you had your first sexual experience?
Brad
22... It was not good, and put me off it for a while, before my next experience
with a man.
GIO
What made you decide to pursue porn?
Brad
At the risk of sounding crazy... I just knew it was something I was meant to do,
and that I would be good at…

While you were living in Australia
your first film was directed by the legendary
Chi Chi LaRue
for Falcon Studios,
tell me about that experience and what it was like going in front of the cameras
for the first time.
Brad
It was great!! Chi-Chi was so good at keeping me calm. But I had no nerves about
it. As I said, it was just something that I knew I was meant to do!! I love
being in front of the camera, to be watched, it turns me on!! By the way...That
should be criteria for all who want to step in front of the camera. Do it for
the right reasons!!

John Rutherford,

COLT Studio Group), named you a
Falcon Exclusive
right after your first film with them, what was that experience like for you?
Brad
It was very flattering! I had heard from my good friend
Joe Foster
what a great person John Rutherford
was. And after talking with Chi-Chi, my mind was made up! John and ChiChi are
both wonderful human beings, who I trust fully. They have never steered me
wrong!
GIO
What made you decide to leave your “exclusive” status with Falcon after 2 years
and pursue other studios?
Brad
I think I had gone as far as I could with Falcon. And well, I am 33, so maybe it
was time for me to turn into a man!! I am not sure I could pull off that whole
pretty boy thing much longer, ha-ha.... and what is more masculine than
COLT!
I am enjoying the change in my career, plus I am a do it myself guy, and like to
be my own boss!!

Your latest release for
Buckshot Productions is with another
legendary name in Gay Porn. Tell me about doing the film
Beyond Perfect and becoming a
Buckshot Man?
Brad
This has been my most exciting movie to date. And the release, which is this
week, has me very nervous. I really hope that all my fans will love it! Becoming
a Buckshot Man
has been a big transition for me and a change of style to some degree.

How is your current promotion tour going for
Beyond Perfect?
Brad
It’s been great! COLT Studio Group
flew me to NYC for the premier at
Splash Bar and to do a radio show on
Sirius OUT Q
with Derek
and Romaine

actually home in Amsterdam now, after a month of traveling in the states. I am
home to enjoy the Christmas season. But have plans for more appearances over in
the US 2-3 month’s at time.

and being released next year. Tell me about these films.
Brad Yes, I just shot a scene for
Big Rig,
up in Sacramento, with the very sexy "Omer",
who is a 19 year old hottie from Israel!! It is the first scene that I have EVER
shot in a bed!! Haha... I also shot my solo that week for COLT’s Minute Man
series. They will be released in March, and Feb.

What do you enjoy most about performing for live audiences?
Brad
Oh that is easy. See, I have a problem about being nude in public; I get really
nervous because I know every time, that I will start to get a hard-on. This is
why I never shower at the gym!! It just simply turns me on, to have people
watching me! I Love it!!! The whole live web cam thing I do on
www.BradPatton.net is new to me, but I believe I am getting better at it.

I totally agree! WOOF! Has there been a moment on set that stands out as funny
or embarrassing that you can share with the readers?
Brad
Yes, I won’t name the actor, who knocked me in the head with a round kick, in
the middle of a scene. He needed to take a chill pill! I think he was so nervous
that it was making him all hyper. I can laugh at it know. But sure didn’t at the
time....

Ouch! Besides doing porn what are you passionate about?
Brad
Well obviously my big passion is skating, always has been and probably always
will.... I am very passionate about design also! Right now it is my spare
bedroom that is getting a face lift, well actually a full body tuck.

If I were you ask your two closest friends what your best quality is, what would
they tell me?
Brad
They might say, that I am always happy, and gets along with everyone...

What would they say is your biggest opportunity for improvement?

Yes you do (laughing) If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
Brad
A cat, I love cats, they are very independent animals, they take care of
themselves, and don’t take shit from no one!!

Tell me what gay life is like in
Amsterdam compared to the other places
you have lived?
Brad
Well, Amsterdam is like a big village,
so gay life here isn’t everything that people expect it to be. However Holland
is one of the most tolerant countries in the world, and gays have enjoyed many
rights here for a number of years that you still do not have over in the US. But
in recent years there has been a rise in hate crimes, largely coming from the
Muslim community here, and it has angered and scared many people. But it is
still a great place to live. There is no "gay ghetto" in Amsterdam, as the gay
population is spread out all across the city. Which is good! Integration is a
large step to acceptance. Cities like SF, and NY, with there gay villages, as
fun as they are, I think it does a disservice to the gay community. We are
segregating ourselves!!

That is a very intelligent observation. OK, we are getting too serious…What is
your biggest turn on sexually and turn off?
Brad Biggest turn on, confidence.... Biggest turn off, arrogance.

Where is the most exotic place you have had sex?
Brad
Oh that is easy, it was a tidal pool, in Hawaii, with

Brad
Here in Amsterdam not that often. Which
is cool, I can go about my own thing. But when I do it is always nice, people
are always respectful....

Thanks! Well, it has been up for about 2 months now. And it is going great. I do
2 live web cam shows each week. Mondays, and Fridays at 3pm Pacific coast time, they can have a chat

What would you consider is your best film to date?
Brad
Beyond Perfect, no doubt. The final scene in this movie is the
best scene I have done to date. When I saw it for the first time, I was totally
turned on by it. That is the first time I have been turned on by watching myself
in a film!!!

Do you watch yourself in all your videos?
Brad
Yes, I try to learn from my past mistakes, it becomes more like a study session,
ha-ha

Since living and performing all over the world, what are your favorite cities
and why?
Brad
Paris! Amazing architecture and parks,
New York, the city has such an amazing energy. Rome, the wonderful cafes and
museums and the history, Sydney, ahhh the beaches and laid back life style,
Stockholm, the beautiful people, and all the water running through the city.

You won 2 gold medals in the gay games skating and are planning on competing in
the Out Games in Montréal in 2006, what is your training regime like to get
ready?
Brad
Well, I have just started getting back onto the ice, it will be a big change in
my workout routine, I am used to going to the gym almost every day. And doing 4
days a week of upper body weight training. Well that is all going to have to
change. It will have to be at least 3-4 days a week on the ice. And some days
will have to be double training passes, to get myself prepared. I have my work
cut out for me. Because when I do something, I do it full out. And I also want
to prove something to myself at the games.
GIO
You are certainly a well rounded performer on film and on the ice, where do you
see your career going in the future?
Brad
Wow, I really don’t know. I am just trying to concentrate on the now, and the
next half a year. Things can change to fast in ones life; I am sure six months
from now. I will want to be heading in another direction...
GIO
Is there anything else you would like to share with your fans?
Brad
yes, I am currently taking applications for boyfriends, ha-ha....
